I mostly use weapon mods, so I guess it's a matter of preference.

I'm halfway through a randomizer playthrough (using weapon and enemy randomizer) with my girlfriend. You can use these mods to play multiplayer. So yeah, unless the randomizer disables the sanity check or you use the disable sanity check tool, you won't be able to use modded/hybrid weapons.

Since the part that makes a gun unique in BL2 is the barrel, you can't have hybrids in BL2 anymore.

But there is a 'disable sanity check' thingy tool somewhere on Google. It might seem like it since anything can spawn with any part, so I'm not sure. As far as I know UCP doesn't disable the sanity check. If you follow what I follow, you can just execute patch2.txt and it'll load up your randomizer included patch. I don't know if this is necessary, but that's how I make mine work. I keep my normal playthrough saved as patch.txt, and keep my randomizer one to patch2.txt. You can just import the cerandomizer in BLCMM and save it as patch2.txt. I suggest making a different profile for your randomizer. You can then open BLCMM and import your mods folder in it. Does the community patch bypass the sanity check? Can i load in hybrid weapons from Gibbed if I have the patch enabled? My main concern is getting a randomizer file so I can play the game again, but I also have a few other questions and don't want to post them all in separate posts.

How do I run this file? I have BLCMM and i learned how to use it, for the most part. On github it is called the CErandomizer.cd. The only gun randomizer file that I found is the one by FromDarkHell.
